The Annual Mekong Flood Report for 2017 has been published on the website of the Mekong River Commission (MRC). You can download it here.
This publication is the 13th in a sequence of Annual Mekong Flood Reports by the MRC. The report argues that from the hydrological viewpoint, the year 2017 was rather normal without exceptionally big floods or devastating drought periods.
The report elaborates on methods to assess conditions in the LMB, tools for forecasting flood and drought, and explains the regional flood and drought situation in the current year by means of one overarching and four country-related sections.
