{"id":2009,"date":"2017-09-28T14:39:57","date_gmt":"2017-09-28T14:39:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sydro.de\/?p=2009"},"modified":"2018-03-08T11:48:04","modified_gmt":"2018-03-08T11:48:04","slug":"ecoswat-wins-drone-pioneer-award-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sydro.de\/en\/2017\/09\/28\/ecoswat-wins-drone-pioneer-award-2017\/","title":{"rendered":"ECOSWat wins Drone Pioneer Award 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/ecoswat-thailand.com\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ECOSWat Thailand Project<\/a> of the <abbr title=\"Deutsche Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH\">GIZ<\/abbr> has won the Drone Pioneer Award 2017, which was presented at the InterGEO fair in Berlin on September 27th. SYDRO Consult was heavily involved in this project. Dr. Hubert Lohr, Director of SYDRO Consult, was Lead Consultant and involved from 2013 to 2017. SYDRO was involved during project implementation in Thailand in 2015 and 2016 and among other things conducted the training for ecosystem-based measures in Thailand (more information is available <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sydro.de\/en\/references\/ecoswat-improved-management-of-extreme-events-through-ecosystem-based-adaption\/\">here<\/a>). <\/p>\n<p>Roland Treitler, Project Director, accepted the reward via Skype from Bangkok.
